Forty Days of Crafts: Fan-Fold Changing Picture

Materials:

Step 1: Print out coloring pages.

Step 2: Color coloring pages.

Step 3: Fold the coloring pages in an accordion pattern front to back like you would to make a fan. Make sure the folds are parallel to the short edges of the paper. Make each fold about 1 inch wide.

Step 4: Cut each picture along the folds. Each picture should be cut into seven or eight strips of paper.

Step 5: Take two pieces of construction paper and fan-fold them, making each fold about one inch wide. Glue the two pages together by gluing a fold on one of the pieces of paper on top of a fold on the other piece of paper. This will just make it look like a long fan-folded piece of construction paper.

Step 6: Glue the strips from one coloring page in order on every other fold. Then stick the strips from the other coloring page on the opposite side.

Step 7: When you look at the page from the left side, you should see one picture, and when you look at the picture from the right side, you should see the other picture.
