Back to Front and Upside Down
Back to Front and Upside Down

Last Monday, at the American Library Association’s Midwinter Meeting, Claire Alexander’s Back to Front and Upside Down received the prestigious Schneider Family Award for children 0-10, recognizing it as a book that “embodies an artistic expression of the disability experience.”

Following news of the award, we anticipated that a number of readers might be newly interested in learning more about this charming picture book, which tells the story of an beginning writer who is frustrated when his letters keep coming out “back to front and upside down.”

To satisfy their curiosity, we quickly went to work creating a book trailer that showcases the book’s adorable illustrations, relatable characters, and encouraging message for young students.

You’ll find the latest addition to our YouTube video library below. Enjoy!
