The Dog That Nino Didn’t Have Several EBYR books were honored by the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College in their list of Paterson Prize winners and honor books. The Sheep Go on Strike by Jean-François Dumont won the Paterson Prize for Pre-K through 3rd Grade. Two Little Birds by Mary Newell DePalma, Crazy by Linda Vigen Phillips, and The Big Book of Slumber by Giovanna Zoboli and illustrated Simona Mulazzani were all named as honor books.
- The Dog That Nino Didn’t Have was reviewed by Kirkus. The illustrations carry a “poignant undertone,” and the book is a “sensitive reminder that imagination can provide comfort, though not in unlimited quantity.”
- Chris Barton will be presenting on his new book The Amazing Age of John Roy Lynch at the Mississippi Book Festival in August.
