News from EBYR & Elsewhere

  • Parachute

Parachute earned a starred review from the School Library Journal. The reviewer calls the book “an excellent addition to any library” and says the book will “delight [and] inspire discussion by young children and slightly older ones as well.”

  • The Bank Street College of Education released its books of the year list, and two EBYR books were honored. The Amazing Age of John Roy Lynch was named an “outstanding merit” book for ages five to nine, and Fur, Fins, and Feathers was included as a book of the year in the nine to twelve list.
