EBYR All Over News from EBYR

EBYR All Over: April 22, 2016

Welcome back to EBYR All Over, a Friday roundup of all the EBYR-related news, reviews, interviews, and other interesting online content we can gather in a given week.

News from EBYR & Elsewhere

  • Congrats to Indiana L., Stacy D., and Manju H., the winners of our April giveaway! They’ll each be receiving a copy of Night Guard, our new collection of poetry written by Synne Lea and illustrated by Stian Hole.
  • One Big Family

One Big Family was reviewed on the Chat with Vera blog. Vera calls the book a “warm tale” of family life: “The story reminds me of a family reunion trip where they all come together from the four corners of their world and reunite as a family bringing opportunities for the young cousins and aunties and uncles to all get to know and fully embrace one another.”

  • Vera’s also been quite busy reviewing other EBYR titles. See her reviews of I Am Marc Chagall, Brother Hugo and the Bear, and In Search of the Little Prince.
  • Animal Beauty was reviewed on the Kiss the Book blog. “This picture book could be a great springboard for classroom discussions about popularity, individualization, and having a healthy self esteem,” writes the reviewer. “The artwork and illustrations are detailed and inspiring.”
  • Parachute was also reviewed on Kiss the Book.
