News from EBYR & Elsewhere
-
The Amazing Age of John Roy Lynch Chris Barton, author of The Amazing Age of John Roy Lynch, is one of the featured authors at the Mazza Museum’s Summer Conference. He’ll be presenting at the conference on Monday, July 18.
- Speaking of The Amazing Age, the book was reviewed in a video by Children’s Bookshelf, a PBS show produced by Central Michigan University.
- Just for Today, the “daily decalogue” written by Saint John XXIII and illustrated by Bimba Landmann, was reviewed by David Crumm on Read the Spirit. Crumm recommends the book for all readers, Catholic or otherwise, religious or not: “I can envision this new Eerdmans book read on a daily basis in many homes. Whatever your faith, if you find yourself looking for more spiritual meaning in your daily life—buy a copy. Have no children at home? Who cares? You’ll still love this picture book.”
