News from EBYR & Elsewhere
-
Why Am I Here? Why Am I Here?, another EBYR October release, was featured in the Children’s Book Council’s “Hot Off the Press” collection for October. A Well-Mannered Young Wolf was also included.
- Speaking of A Well-Mannered Young Wolf, earlier this fall we mentioned that it had earned a starred review from Booklist. Well, here’s the full review! (Spoiler alert, though—save for later if you want the story’s twist to be a surprise.)
- A Well-Mannered Young Wolf also topped Travis Jonker’s 2016 Fall Preview on the 100 Scope Notes blog. Jonker calls the book “a sweet book with a dark end.”
- Samira and the Skeletons was included in a Shelf Awareness collection of Halloween books (scroll down to find it): “This charmingly illustrated Norwegian import offers a quirky, comical perspective on basic anatomy”
