“And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”
— Luke 3:22 (KJV)
Materials:
- Three paper plates
- Markers
- Orange or yellow construction paper
- String
- Dove templates: body, tail, left wing, right wing
- Glue
Step 1: Trace dove stencils onto paper plates and cut out.
Step 2: Glue each wing and the tail to the body.
Step 3: Slightly fold the dove’s body in half to give it more dimension.
Step 4: Fold a piece of orange paper over and cut out a triangle, making sure not to cut on the fold. (This will be the beak.)
Step 5: Glue beak to the dove’s face.
Step 6: Use a marker and draw eyes onto the dove.
Step 7: Attach a piece of string to the back side of the dove so it can hang it up from the ceiling and look like it is flying.
