One Big Family One Big Family, a spring 2016 book by Marc Harshman and illustrated by Sara Palacios, was reviewed by Publishers Weekly. The book “offers a nostalgic tribute to summer get-togethers” and “celebrate[s] the casual chaos of big family gatherings.”
- The Amazing Age of John Roy Lynch was honored as one of the Teaching for Change Favorite Books of 2015.
- Jen Bryant, author of The Right Word, was featured in a School Library Journal recap of the NCTE 2015 Conference. Bryant’s talk on crafting biographies was identified as one of the “presentations that captivated conference goers.”
- The Right Word was included in a Noodle.com list, based on the Parents’ Choice Awards, of “Top Toys for Kids Who Love Reading and Writing.”
- Just for Today and Brother Giovanni’s Little Reward were both included in a Catholic News Service list of great Christmas gifts.

The Legend of Saint Nicholas The Legend of Saint Nicholas — another great Christmas gift — was featured in The Horn Book November 2015 Nonfiction Notes newsletter. The newsletter linked to this collection of books on world religions, which calls the title a “beautifully illustrated” book whose “[l]uminous paintings . . . capture the saint’s humanity.”
